Track-2: KANSAS NSF EPSCoR Call for White Papers - Collaborative Initiatives to Improve Research Infrastructure
The National Science Foundation has released the program solicitation for EPSCoR Track-2 on October 31.
The deadline for full Track-2 proposals from partnering states/jurisdictions is January 30, 2013. Because many states are starting to make decisions as to which states to partner with, we must accelerate our decision process for Kansas proposals. Therefore, the previous deadline for Kansas Track-2 white papers (November 30, 2012) must be moved up November 9, 2012. Please note the following important changes, including a shorter narrative, to the request for white papers.
1. The deadline is now 5:00 PM central time, Friday, November 9.
2. The white paper should contain the following:

White Papers Due by 5:00 pm on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 30, 2012.
Only proposals that include collaborations between two or more eligible EPSCoR jurisdictions will be considered. Twenty-eight states, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands are currently eligible to compete in the NSF EPSCoR program opportunities. The states are: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
